Jeep Wrangler Holds Its Value Better Than Any Other Vehicle, Says Report

If you're concerned that your new car will depreciate the minute you drive it off the lot, perhaps you might want to purchase a Jeep Wrangler. According to a new study from iseecars.com, most vehicles lost on average about half their value after five years. But that wasn't the case with the Jeep. The online car marketplace found that the four-door model of the Wrangler only dropped 30 percent, while the two-door did only slightly worse, at 31.5 percent. On the flip side of the coin, luxury sedans and plug-ins dropped significantly. The Maserati Quattroporte fell 72.2 percent from the sticker price, while the electric Nissan Leaf and BMW i3 plug-in hybrid/electric also shed 70 percent of their value.
