BOSTON (WBZ-AM) -- The Patriots are on bye after their loss to the Titans, so WBZ NewsRadio's Adam Kaufman and The Boston Globe's NFL reporter Ben Volin used this downtime to assess where the team stands in this week's Red Zone Report.

So where do they stand?

"Obviously, the offense needs to execute a little bit better, and this is not just coming off the Titans game," Volin said. "Tom Brady has even said it himself, that all year long, they haven't quite been executing correctly--games when they scored 38, he feels that they should have put up 51 points. I think the offense has some things they need to work out this week, but mostly with the bye, I think they just need to get healthy, and get rested up. Ten straight weeks of football--they looked pretty tired out there in Tennessee."

Kaufman and Volin also discussed Tom Brady's poor play, Rob Gronkowski's future, how Brady's been forcing the ball to Josh Gordon, Volin's picks for the most and least impressive Patriots players so far this season, and what the team's final record will be.
