I have not been paid to recommend any of these products. Here are three things I'm loving this week! Let's get started...
1: Aztec Secret – Indian Healing Mask
Couple of things about this mask. First, it's not single use. It comes in powder form. You make a mask when you want it. SO much less expensive than the single serving masks that are available...everywhere.
Second, it works. I use this every couple weeks. Mixed with apple cider vinegar, it really exfoliates your skin and tightens your pours. Bonus, it's easy on your wallet.
Here's a picture from when my "How Girls Talk" cohosts (McKaila and Rachel) did the mask while we hosted the K102 morning show...

#2: A Big 'Ol Waterproof, Outdoor Chest
Confession: I am one of those crazy pillow people.
When it comes to our outdoor space, lounge chairs, dining chairs, adirondack chairs around the fire pit...there is nary a seat without a pillow...or two. I hate going outside to soggy cushions so I've been storing them in our back porch. Not a good look and taking up A TON of space.
Enter the giant, outdoor chest. I bought this thing on Wayfair. It arrived this week and was pretty easy to put together. I love the look and we can use it as a bench when we need extra seating. You know, for that big post-Covid party I'm going to throw.
It's been raining like crazy this week and all my cushions not only fit in the chest, they're perfectly dry!
#3: Maple Panna Cotta With Coarse Sea Salt (AKA- the dessert I'm serving twice this weekend)
This is a winner. I first had it at Mill Valley Kitchen and fell in love. I dream about it.
When I asked Jeff what he wanted for his birthday dessert, he said, "That panna cotta!"
I was going to figure out how to make it...and I did. It's not only simple, you make it ahead of time. We have a dinner/party tonight and a dinner tomorrow, I made enough to serve it twice :)
The sea salt really does make a difference. This is what I use...
There are only seven ingredients:
*Unflavored Gelatin
*Whole Milk
*Whipping Cream
*Pure Maple Syrup
*Vanilla Extract
*Maple Extract
*Sea Salt
The recipe doesn't use sea salt, that I took from Mill Valley's version.
Here's the recipe.
Happy shopping and cooking. The weekend is here!
