TMSG: Restaurant Creates Braille Menu For Blind Customer

Lisa Blankenship has been going to Hwy 55 Burgers Shakes & Fries in West Virginia for a long time now. However, going out to eat for her typically means running in the same problem - she can't read the menu because she is blind.

The Hwy 55 staff noticed she always had to have someone read the menu to her, so they wanted to help change that. They reached out to Cabell Wayne Association of the Blind and created a customized Braille menu for her.

Blankenship says that she loved it. She told WOWK TV,

"I feel at home here and they really treat handicap people with dignity. With this brail menu, now I can not bother my husband. He says it’s not a bother, of course, but you don’t want anyone to have to read every little thing to you.”

That's definitely some Tell Me Something Good and a customer service that's priceless.
