TMSG: Stolen Dog Reunites With Family After Cross-Country Journey

Dog Zeus has had an eventful last few months, but thankfully he's safely home back with his family now.

Zeus was stolen from his home in Butte, Montana and found 2,000 miles away from home in West Virginia. Family friend Jason Ryan Mounts was staying with Zeus' family when Mounts decided to take some things along with Zeus and flee to West Virginia.

Mounts was found in a Kroger parking lot in an abandoned vehicle and officers took the dog to the Kanawha-Charleston Humane Association. There they found that Zeus had a microchip and belonged to a family in Montana.

So the humane association asked for volunteers to get Zeus back home to his family across the country. 30 people ended up volunteering to help Zeus get home to Montana. Each person documented their journey and time with Zeus before the really happy reunion with Zeus' family.
